I bought this book and was impressed. As its title indicates, it's a 'character works' book. It shows details on outfits for characters, both in color and original b&w. The characters in the game appear somewhat different than they do in this book. The first section of the book, which is bound and read right - left, features Fujishima's finished sketches in color.
The second section is filled with close-ups and details of characters in rough sketches, both in color and b&w. The last section is filled with the chibi sketches and finished color sketches. This is a good art book to reference if you're looking for sketches of Lord Yggdrasill and Mithos who don't get much attention in the US-released promotional art book. The book features them and the main characters printed on thick high quality paper with a nice glossy cover and obi or spine card.It makes a nice collectors item! I'm a big fan of GE Animation's lovely anime character plushies, and I love to collect plushies of the boy hero characters from certain animes.Lloyd Irving is an adorable young warrior boy, and this plush is an excellent replica of this noble character.
Of course, like all of GE Animation's plush toys, this Lloyd plushie is very well-made and highly detailed - not to mention super-cute!His uniform is very impressive in its layered complexity and detail. Every detail is spot-on. I love his vibrant red regal-looking warrior's garb, the suspenders, sci-fi-looking boots and gloves, and especially the two little sheathed swords (made of a sturdy, smooth, and bendable material) he holds at each side, sewn onto the belt of his uniform.
The swords are movable, but cannot be detached from Lloyd's uniform. From the stock photo of the plush shown here, I only noticed one sword, so I was pleasantly.
